Today is a busy day on the farm—and it starts with the arrival of another batch of baby chicks in the mail.
We show getting the new chicks settled into the brooder and check in on the group we already have to make sure everyone is healthy, eating well, and adjusting properly.

Things are getting heated in the Appalachian homesteading community! Today, I have to take a minute to address a serious disagreement I'm having with my buddy Andy over at the True Grit: Appalachian Ways YouTube channel. Once we get that settled, it is back to business at Sheraton Park Farms. We had an exciting delivery at the post office today: a brand new batch of baby chicks! We are bringing you along to unbox the chicks, get them safely settled into the brooder, and check on how our older batch of birds is doing.
Finally, we are wrapping up some ongoing projects. We give you a final look at the 16-foot lumber we milled in the last video, and show you the finishing touches we are putting on the brand new chicken tractor to get it ready for the pasture.
